A warm summer day, you drive to grandma's garden. When you arrive at the garden gate, you can already smell it: the aroma of a freshly baked crumble cake with icing sugar and juicy plums. The fruity acidity of the fruit in combination with the juicy-sweet cake batter makes your palate water. How nice would it be to be able to enjoy Grandma's plum cake whenever you want? Don't despair, ask KoRo: from now on we will make your dream come true! Well, at least as far as the aromatic plums are concerned. Unfortunately, we don't have Grandma's secret recipe in stock. Buy 1 kg dried, pitted plums now!

Dried plums - fruity snack and aromatic baking ingredient at the same time

Dried fruit and KoRo are as inseparable as Max and Moritz. From caramel-sweet dates to crunchy banana chips to little bullies, the wild dwarf figs,  we have almost everything to make friends of the fruity snack range happy. You can enjoy our dried plums on their own or in combination with crunchy nuts. Unlike other dried fruit,  our dried plums contain no added sugar** or preservatives. Even if the little wizened fruits seem rather unspectacular compared to red strawberries and orange mango pieces, they are in no way inferior in taste. The unadulterated plum aroma makes them a great ingredient for cooking and baking. In addition to Grandma's plum cake, dried plums can also be used to make plum puree and the time-honoured classic dates or plums wrapped in bacon. Of course, you can also use them to refine a muesli, porridge or yoghurt bowl. They also make a delicious fruit topping in a crunchy salad alongside cranberries and dried sweet cherries.  As you can see, there are numerous ways to add these tasty little plums to your gums!

Buy fruity prunes without added sugar**

In the 1 kg advantage pack, you won't run out too quickly. And if 1 kg isn't enough for you, you can also get them directly in the 10 x 1 kg advantage size. Order dried, pitted plums now!

Questions & answers: Dried and pitted plums 1 kg
Yeees, our plums are pitted before being packed. However, it may well happen that isolated prunes still contain a stone. Therefore, you should always bite into them with a little caution.
In 100 g of our untreated plums there are 278 kcal.
Along with mirabelles, plums are also a subspecies of the plum. Unlike plums, damsons are easier to pit. But since you are king:in with us, we have already taken over the laborious removal of the stones. Plums also differ from damsons in taste: plums are generally sweeter and juicier than damsons and are therefore processed in a wider variety of ways.
Our dried plums are untreated and come completely without additional sugar. They are pitted, dried and can therefore be used wonderfully as snacks for in between or as a fruity topping.
If you suffer from a plum or fructose intolerance, we advise you not to eat the fruit.
First and foremost, a wholesome and varied diet is healthy. But the fact is that our plums score as a fruity source of fiber.
Nope! Our dried plums have a fructose content of 38 g per 100 g and come super without any other added sugar. Even preservatives are literally not in our bag.
The use of our dried plums is manifold. First and foremost, of course, they are a fruity snack and a delicious ingredient in various bowls. In addition, they can be used in various dishes such as fresh salads, rice pudding, etc. and refine juicy cakes with their fruity note.

China is the country with the world's largest plum production; over 50% of the plums harvested worldwide come from there. Plums have been cultivated for over 5000 years and were brought to Syria and Greece by crusaders from Damascus, and were imported to France and Germany by the Romans. Plum trees are more demanding than you might think, as they prefer nutrient-rich soil, a lot of humidity, mild temperatures, and want to be sheltered from the wind - and of course they also want a lot of sun!
