Everything at a glance French press 1000 ml

The alarm clock goes off and you turn over in agony: "Oh God no, please no". Who hasn't experienced it - slumbering peacefully one moment and then the alarm clock abruptly wakes you from your dreams the next. Tired eyes, limp limbs and a big workday coming up. The only thing that helps: COFFEE! As you slowly wake up mentally, yawning, the kettle lights up and you gratefully pour the hot water over your shimmering brown coffee powder, which in the next moment spreads a seductive coffee scent in the kitchen - mhhhh! Now the day can start. What are you waiting for? Rise and shine, grab your 1000 ml french press now!

Your favourite french press coffee

French press coffee is probably the easiest and quickest coffee to prepare there is. No filter, no complicated procedure, no overpriced machines. With our French Press you can make your next coffee in no time at all. With this simple and popular preparation method, a metal sieve is used to separate the coffee grounds from the finished brewed coffee. Since no filter is used with the french press, the finished coffee tends to contain more coffee oils than with the hand filter. The result: more intense, full-bodied coffee flavour, easier than ever before!

How to make the best coffee with the french press

Whether you call it a french press, a press pot or a coffee maker, you have to learn how to make coffee with a french press. That's why in the next step we'll give you instructions on how to make your next coffee an absolute taste explosion. Point 1: The right grind. A medium to coarse setting is best, as the ground coffee can then be reliably separated from the coffee when the plunger is pressed down. Another important question is how much coffee powder you should use in a French press. The dosage has driven many a coffee lover crazy. We shed some light on the subject and recommend 50-70 grams per litre of water. This corresponds to about 5-7 heaped tablespoons (depending on how strong you like your coffee). After that, preparing your french press coffee is very easy. After pouring the coffee powder into the glass jug, pour hot (but not boiling) water over it, e.g. from the kettle. Coffee experts stir everything again after pouring in the water so that the coffee is well distributed and can release its full aroma in the best possible way. Then it's just a matter of putting the lid on - and waiting. And how long? In this case, the brewing time depends entirely on your personal taste. 4-5 minutes is a good guideline. During this time, the coffee develops its full aroma without becoming bitter.

You don't like to drink your coffee straight? Then try our barista oat drink. The plant-based alternative to cow's milk is easy to froth and conjures up a true café feeling. Add a few of our double oat cookie with chocolate filling and you have the perfect combination for a coffee break.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Cheap processing

I wanted to buy extra not the well-known brand, but will do so now. The French Press from Koro looks cheap and the stamp slides down independently from a certain height. In addition, the sieve does not close tightly enough with the glass wall. Yes, the price is low, but the quality just unfortunately. The French Press goes back.

Exactly, the price is low. Since you can not expect Bodum luxury quality. We have ordered the pot for the holidays and used. It has served well and will do so on future vacations.
