See for yourself: Buy a cold brew coffee maker in the UK, make a refreshing cold brew and head for the sun to enjoy the cool refreshment!

Preparing cold brew coffee specialties

So how exactly is cold brew coffee prepared? Let's put it this way, it's definitely more elaborate than we thought: the special cold brew coffee beans are first ground into a coarse powder, filled into a container with cold water and left to steep for at least 12 hours. After that, the coffee still has to be filtered somehow - annoying! And that's where our cold brew maker comes in, with which this last step is no longer necessary. The integrated stainless steel insert already serves as a filter that extends far down into the glass vessel. This means that the coffee powder is in contact with the water at all times, but remains practically "trapped" in the filter. This makes the preparation of cold brew coffee much easier: if you add water and coffee powder to the coffee maker the night before, all you have to do the next morning is remove the container and you can enjoy your refreshing cold brew coffee immediately. So simple, so good!

Cold brew coffee equipment

And because coffee preparation is often about the perfect water-to-bean ratio, we naturally give you a rough guideline for this too: to prepare about one litre of cold brew coffee, about 100 g of coarsely ground coffee is considered optimal. We recommend using special cold brew coffee, as espresso beans, for example, can quickly make the coffee much too strong and less flavourful. If you want to enjoy your cold brew a little stronger, it is better to use a little more than 100 g of the appropriate bean before resorting to other alternatives.

Buy a stylish coffee maker for your kitchen

It's clear now that our coffee brewer is extremely helpful for preparing your cold brew coffee. But there are even more reasons why this coffee maker can convince. Visually alone, the coffee maker with looks great with its KoRo design: a fine glass carafe, which is rounded off by a simple black silicone handle. Inside, of course, we have the high-quality stainless steel filter with matching lid. Since we use a glass carafe, the cold brew container is not only suitable for preparing cold refreshing drinks. You can also simply fill the filter with fresh green tea and brew up to 1300 ml of tea at once with a little hot water. In summary, the cold brew maker is a visual and practical highlight in every kitchen and is just waiting to make your everyday life easier. Gute Cold Brew Karaffe

The carafe consists of 3 parts: the carafe (glass and silicone), the lid (aluminum (?) and silicone) and the filter (stainless steel and silicone). The carafe is very suitable for the preparation of Cold Brew Coffee in the refrigerator. After the known eternity (usually 12 hours) in the refrigerator, the sieve can be pulled out along with the coffee powder. I was previously a bit critical about cleaning the filter and assumed that I would have to somehow scrape out the powder, but no: it just slips out. A quick rinse and it's done. Before buying, check if the side compartment of your refrigerator door has a width of at least 10.5cm and a height of 26 cm, then the carafe stands better. And no, you can not put the carafe down (just in case someone should ask). In the filter fit about 150g coarsely ground coffee. A few more tips for beginners: - grind the coffee medium coarse - 50-100g of coffee powder per run (depends on strength and taste) - time: about 6-20 hours (again, depends on strength and taste) - a Blond Roast is recommended in terms of taste (only "lightly" roasted coffee) - use cold water, if you like you can filter it beforehand - put it in the fridge I have to the carafe still a few criticisms: - the silicone band around the carafe itself, especially if it fogs up when you take it out of the fridge, is a matter of faith: I believe and hope that it holds and does not slip off. - the spout of the carafe is unfortunately a bit slanted and not straight (more blemish than detriment) - the lid: The holds and sits really well only when the filter is still in it, which is removed after some time, however, and then the lid slips and rattles around on the carafe. Improvement suggestion to KoRo: a groove in the lid that the lip of the glass carafe sits on and the stopper continues to have a firm grip in the filter. Or a second wider step so that the lid also sits firmly on the carafe.
