- unsalted, roasted peanuts : 120 g
- dates: 200 g
- baking cacao: 50 g
- thin-rolled oats: 40 g
- (sugar-free and vegan) dark chocolate: 160 g
- sea salt: 1 pinch(es)
Finely blend 150 g of the peanuts.
Add the dates, cacao powder, oats and 6 tbsp of water to the peanut mixture and blend everything until a uniform mass is formed.
Pour the mass into a rectangular casserole dish or if you happen to have them in muesli bar forms. You don't have to coat the casserole dish or baking form with fat or line it with baking paper. You'll be able to remove the bars later without a problem. Press down on the mass firmly so that it sticks together properly. The mass should be about 1 - 1,5 cm high. Place the forms for at least half an hour into your fridge.
In the meantime you can chop the remaining 20 g of peanuts into fine pieces.
Take the bars out of the fridge after they've cooled off. Melt the chocolate in a bain marie and as soon as it has turned into a liquid spread it evenly over the peanut and date bottom. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and a pinch of salt on top. Put the bars back into the fridge in order for the chocolate to harden. That will take about two hours.
Cut bar shaped pieces out of the mass and enjoy them!
