Wie Shakespeare schon sagte: ‘In der Kürze liegt die Würze’! Es sei denn, wir reden von unseren Bio Kurkuma Pappardelle, dann stehen wir doch lieber auf lange, italienische Bandnudeln. Warum? Weil sich hier Geschmack, Zutaten und Qualität ein Rennen liefern, bei dem wir nur zu gerne zuschauen (und probieren natürlich)! Unsere Pappardelle werden aus 98 % Reismehl und 2 % Kurkuma hergestellt. Der neutrale Geschmack des Mehls gibt unserem Kurkuma viel Raum zur Geschmacksentfaltung: Würzig, angenehm bitteres Aroma und die gelb-orangene Hingucker-Farbe machen sie zum Highlight in jedem Pasta-Rezept! Auch wenn wir auf Hartweizengrieß verzichten, haben die Nudeln eine super Konsistenz. Denn sie sind weder zu fest, noch zu brüchig. Als wäre das nicht genug, haben wir die Rezeptur unserer Pasta glutenfrei und vegan gehalten, weil wir der Meinung sind, dass jede:r in den Genuss der Nudeln kommen sollte. Kurkuma – was ist das?
Kurkuma gehört zu den Ingwergewächsen und stammt aus dem asiatischen Raum. Die Knolle ist vor allem bekannt durch ihren charakteristischen Duft, einer leuchtend gelben Farbe und dem intensiven, würzigen Geschmack. Currys erhalten durch Kurkuma ihre tolle Färbung und auch unsere Bio Pappardelle freuen sich über aromatische Bereicherungen. Wir haben zuvor natürlich ausgiebig getestet und uns dann für die Version mit 2 % Kurkuma-Anteil entschieden, damit der Geschmack würzig, aber nicht zu intensiv oder gar bitter ist.
Pasta in 8-10 Minuten zubereiten
Je länger die Pasta-Beschreibung, desto kürzer die Zubereitung: Pappardelle in gesalzenes, kochendes Wasser geben, für 8-10 Minuten garen lassen und schon sind sie fertig zum Servieren. Typischerweise werden Pappardelle als Nudelnester mit deftigem Ragout, also ‘al cinghiale’ serviert. Wir haben als leckere Abwechslung ein Rezept für vegetarisches Ragout fin in unserem Food Journal, zu dem unsere Kurkuma Pappardelle perfekt passen würden. Aber auch in der One Pot Pasta oder der bunten Nudelpfanne sind sie das Highlight in Deinem Essen.

Super lecker
I received the noodles, like many others, in the October box and finally got around to trying them once: As many of the previous speakers:in have already noted, a 5-7 minute cooking time is not accurate. I had set the clock to 7 minutes and there they were still very al-dente. At 2 more minutes they were perfect for me personally, for al-dente lovers vllt. already a tick too through. But that's basically a matter of taste. I have 9 levels on the stove and the noodles were, after the water once boiled, salted and boiled again, consistently cooked on level 7. Likewise, I periodically got the pasta moving with my pasta claw to keep it from sticking. If you don't get them moving, they will stick to the bottom, as they definitely seem stickier/softer than wheat pasta. However, this did not happen to me. Also, I had only very isolated "breakage"; since nothing had set with me, the cleaning went with me accordingly easy. However, I would take in any case a pot that is large enough and leaves room for maneuver (you should do with pasta anyway, but is here because of the tendency to stick m. E. a decisive factor). Taste-wise, they are super tasty and went great with the sauce I had made (cashew-based with roasted peppers and a bit of Nutritional Yeast in the blender); especially they are from the structure a super pasta for "saucy", as liquids adhere very well. If vllt it didn't work the first time, evaluate what you could do differently next time? I honestly had doubts after some of the previous reviews here, which is probably why I hesitated for so long "to dare", but it was really problem-free, hence the detailed description of the cooking method etc.. Maybe that helps one or the other :) I recommend the pasta in any case and have it now on my watch list for future orders.

Große Empfehlung
Tolle Alternative zu "normalen" Nudeln, um mal etwas Abwechslung reinzubringen. Schmecken angenehm nach Kurkuma. Mit einer hellen Pilzsauce besonders jetzt im Herbst wirklich sehr gut. Ich hatte auch mit dem Kochen keine Probleme. Mit etwas Öl verkleben die Nudeln auch nicht mehr oder weniger, als "normale" es tun würden. Treffen meinen Geschmack zu 100 %!

Had the noodles in the October box, like many others I was very pleased I love turmeric. But that did not go at all after 10 min cooking still hard.When stirring only small parts in the pot. That was nacher on the plate just a bunch.Not respectable and tasty also not. Also the taste leaves much to be desired. There are other manufacturers of Kurkumanudeln. These gehem not at all.Sorry

I had the noodles in my October subscription box. After reading the reviews here, I hardly dared to try them - but I'm thrilled. Stand normal noodles in no way inferior, would even say that they taste better to me than normal. Clear recommendation from me!
Totally delicious gluten free pasta
Unfortunately, I can not agree at all with the previous opinions about this product. In fact, the specified cooking time was not quite sufficient, but 2 minutes longer and the noodles were ready. As you can see in the photo, the result can be seen. In addition, also delicious.

Not again!
Unfortunately, I have to agree with part of the reviews: the cooking time is too short, the noodles stick together and also to the bottom of the pot and the spoon. The noodles also stain very strongly, I also had a yellow sink and dishes, etc.. Taste dominates of course the somewhat bitter turmeric flavor, you have to like that. For me, unfortunately, they are nothing and I would not order them again. (had them also in the subscription box October)
Unfortunately not so great
I also had the noodles in the October box and can unfortunately only join. The cooking time, which is indicated is much too low and a large part of the noodles hung on the bottom of the pot. To make matters worse, I have also colored my white sink turmeric yellow when draining the noodles. The stains luckily came out after some scrubbing. Taste the noodles were ok, but I would not buy them again.
