What do plum crumble cake, fluffy filled coconut semolina balls and our protein mini pizza have in common? That's right, they are all heavenly delicious recipes from our Food Journal. At the same time, our organic coconut flour makes a star appearance in every meal! The nutty-sweet taste and its aromatic coconut note fits perfectly into the recipes. But our organic flour can do much more than that: it is soft, easy to process and great for baking. But thickening is also child's play with our coconut flour. Simply add a tablespoon to your smoothie or sauce and enjoy!

Coconut flour as a substitute

If you're a star, you have airs and graces, and so does our coconut flour. It is about as absorbent as a sponge, so you need much more liquid than with almond flour or wheat flour, for example. In combination with other flours, coconut flour makes for a light and airy dough - but you should not replace conventional cereal flour completely or 1:1 with coconut flour. We recommend replacing about ⅕ to ¼ of the flour so that the coconut flavour comes out nicely but the consistency does not suffer. But honestly, what would a star be without fans?

Pancake, bread and cake recipes with coconut flour

Now it's time for baking: As an ingredient in cakes, pancakes or muffins, coconut flour feels right at home! Our "organic" label also promises you freshness and high quality. And you can taste that when you try out the recipes from our Food Journal with our coconut flour. For example, our vegan coconut pancakescoconut blueberry biscuits and coconut porridge are just waiting to be tasted.

Buy organic coconut flour from KoRo

At the flour Oscars, coconut flour would definitely win a lot of "dust". For example, in the categories of high protein and fibre, organic quality or reduced carbohydrate content*. With its sweet, nutty aroma and subtle coconut note, it's also great to bite into.... - er baking. Now it's just waiting to be ordered by you online and released from our warehouse. It's a star, get it out here!

Coconut flour can be kept for up to two years if you store it in a dry, cool place and protect it from sunlight.
Coconut flour is naturally gluten-free and therefore super suitable for gluten-free recipes. However, since our coconut flour is not specifically certified as gluten-free, we prefer to omit this description.
100 g of coconut flour contains 26 g of carbohydrates and thus has a reduced carbohydrate content compared to conventional wheat flour.
Yes, our coconut flour comes in organic quality to your home. Since the flour generally has a long transport route behind it and the coconut harvest and processing is largely handmade, it is particularly important here to fall back on products in organic quality.
Our organic coconut flour impresses with its nutty-sweet taste and full coconut aroma. Coconut flour is very absorbent and provides a great, airy consistency when used correctly. Mega delicious in any kind of baked goods!
Coconut flour is actually a by-product of coconut oil production. For this purpose, the fresh fruit flesh is dried, de-oiled by pressing and what remains (the so-called press cake) is then ground into flour. This makes it particularly natural!
Absolutely! Pure it will probably not taste so good to your four-legged friend, but in dog cookies the flour is a popular ingredient! If you have any questions about it, we recommend that you seek advise from your veterinarian.
Definitely! In the tab "blog posts" you will find lots of delicious recipes. For example, a Frankfurter Kränzchen or a delicious Protein Mini Pizza. Just click through!
The organic coconut flour has 370 calories. It is also rich in protein and fiber. You can also find the exact nutritional values under or next to the product description and on your packaging.
You can integrate coconut flour very well as a flour alternative in your recipes. It is similar in production to almond flour or flaxseed flour, which is why these two are the easiest to replace. Wheat flour, on the other hand, is a bit different: In general, you should keep in mind that coconut flour is extremely absorbent, so you will need more liquid in any case. We therefore recommend replacing only ⅕ to ¼ of your cereal flour with coconut flour. Or you can use recipes that are specially made for coconut flour. You'll find plenty of inspiration in our Food Journal!
But hello, the muscles are amazed not bad! On 100 g coconut flour come 20 g protein, that is in percentage terms about 21.6%!
Organic coconut flour often has a higher price than conventional flour. This is due to the longer distances that the coconuts have to travel and the smaller cultivation area of coconuts. However, baking does not require as much organic coconut flour as is often indicated.
You can also make your own coconut flour. For example, if you already have our coconut flakes at home, you can mix them in your Sir-Mix-A-Lot. However, it may not be quite as fine as our organic coconut flour.

Looks very good visually

"Only 4 points" because I haven't tried it yet. However, it is visually very well processed, very powdery ground. I am curious to see how it can be processed.

Purchase recommendation

Smells and tastes of coconut. Thanks to the zipper closure, it will hopefully stay that way for a long time.

order it again because

I always stirred it into sauces because it was creamier and had a sweet note. I also use it in shakes when I don't have any plant milk at home, mixed with water.
